Motivated by ardent flames of Christian charity, Saint John Bosco dedicated his life to rescuing abandoned children from the streets of Turin, Italy. In the mid-19th century, these children faced a life of destitution, crime, and despair. Moved by their plight, Don Bosco established the Oratory of Saint Francis de Sales, a haven where these lost souls could find refuge, education, and edification to live as devout Catholics. Don Bosco saw the goodness and potential of each child and sought not only to improve their earthly circumstances but also to guide them to Heaven.

Facing incessant opposition from authorities, financial hardship, and even accusations of madness, Don Bosco remained steadfast in his divinely inspired work. This remarkable book chronicles the life, extraordinary work, and miracles of Don Bosco, a saint who transformed the lives of countless children and inspired generations to follow.
